Managing the estate process for a non-legal executor can be a daunting process especially if that executor is located outside of Tasmania. Clear It Property aims to help you in that process by organising physical tasks relating to the management and clearance of property in accordance with your role as estate executor (or administrator). We also work closely with Tasmanian legal practitioners and can help refer you for additional assistance should that be required.
We not only help you with securing, cleaning and clearing a property, we assist you by managing the process such that each step happens efficiently and in a timely manner without conflict.
We can recommend contractors that we have pre-cleared, work with your own service providers, provide you with our costs ahead of agreed works or work to a pre-approved budget. Our work is itemised and reported back to you on an agreed regular basis.
We understand that management and disposal of a deceased estate can be a difficult and controversial process especially where the wishes of the deceased were not made clear or where there is conflict between beneficiaries. We help document the process and the real estate property (and its condition) under your care. This can be used to communicate and discuss any maintenance or work that you might think necessary prior to the property passing to a beneficiary, being sold or otherwise disposed of.
We create a catalog of personal property within an estate. This can form a basis for assessment for valuation or disposal, for example by auction. This document facilitates more efficient and accountable disposal of property. Estate items can be quantified, qualified and tracked and effective decisions made. No more items need go missing.
We map the location of property. The context of the property is captured. Items that belong together, such as jewelry, collections, photographs are documented together by their location, informing decisions you might make about their disposal.
We will respectfully discuss all methods of ‘moving property on’. These options can include donating items to charities or other community groups with a need. We even help with re-homing of pets.
